Quintana’s investment process is designed to generate superior returns for its partners through the acquisition and active management of energy and natural resource focused companies and assets.  Quintana makes investments by conducting a rigorous and disciplined investment process that combines a core group of principles with a solid understanding of the subsectors of the energy industry, careful evaluation and monitoring, and sound exit planning.  In general, Quintana requires Investment Committee approval prior to developing an offer, committing resources toward an evaluation, formalizing a final set of investment terms and executing upon an investment.  The Investment Committee meets on a weekly basis to process Quintana’s deal flow in an orderly manner.
